I read books into a microphone for a living.
Since submitting my first audition exactly four years ago (and winning the gig) I’ve narrated nearly 100 books, both fiction and non-fiction.
As someone who loves reading, this work suits me perfectly.
I was the student who instantly raised her arm like a jack-knife whenever the teacher asked for someone to read a passage aloud to the class. I am also a homebody.
So win, win, win.
While the narration is well underway on my current project, the seventh book of a fun and whimsical supernatural series, I wanted to write up a short post to keep the Substack-wheel spinning, so to speak. It’s been a predictable side effect of my narrowed focus when working on book projects that all of my other creative endeavours tend to take a backseat.
However, I am determined to not let this happen this time around. I intend to become a masterful juggler who can keep all of her balls up in the air.
Focus need not mean sacrifice.
Having now tasted the delicious elixir concocted from the fruits of my consistent labour, I am becoming wise enough to ride the tailwind of momentum, leveraging its power as I soar into my desired future with my wings fully spread.
Today, I am making the time to deliver this one important message.
I have now filmed and shared five episodes of the Post Post Podcast.
And I am overwhelmed and overjoyed with the amount of enthusiastic support I have received from YOU, my beautiful Substack community.
What began as a simple idea for a 30 minute conversation held between two people with the commonality of Substack, has now grown into something much more.
It is changing my life.
Each week, upon meeting and sharing space with another writer, I am growing as both a woman and creator, learning more about my inner self while expanding my external world through a true sense of connection, and making the unknown known.
I am deeply grateful for the gifts you have given me.
Thank you.
Truly.

For those of you interested in checking it out, I’ve made it easy to catch up.
I’ve included the links below for all five episodes, plus the initial post I made explaining the inspiration and the story of why it came to be.
I am so excited to continue this podcast and host many more conversations with those of you willing to join me in the sharing of your stories.
We’re all in this together, kids, so let’s rock on, shall we?
I have an exciting idea
Last evening, as I was enjoying a soak in the tub (which happens to be where I do my best thinking) I received the idea to launch a new podcast. Oh, the wisdom of water. It truly does have things to say if we choose to listen. I digress… the podcast
Episode #1 Featuring Jacqueline Rendell of Post Post Modern
We have lift off! Introducing the Post it Notes Podcast.
Well, my friends….it’s here! I created the very first episode of the Post it Notes Podcast. I spent a lot -a LOOOOT- of time with myself yesterday getting to know myself better. I am happy to announce that it’s here, my friends. And by ‘it’ I mean the first real podcast of Post it Notes where instead of interviewing myself, I got to hang out with my fabulous fellow stacker, Demi Pietchell. “As the founder of The Starfire Codes, she has dedicated herself to shining light into the darkness and helping others navigate uncertainty. J…

Episode #5 Featuring Kevin Alexander of On Repeat
Post Post Podcast #5
Hey friends! Just a quick note before we launch in to the interview portion of the post. I have officially changed the name of the podcast to Post Post Podcast. This is so I don’t have to deal with a lawsuit from the company 3M who manufactures Post it Notes when the podcast becomes a hit. HA.
