‘nook back’

I love that little coupling. Succinct.

Yes we had the CYOA books too and I also bought some from eBay and introduced my son to them, they really were fab and underpinned the concept of having a say in your own story which is very important to kids when growing up.

Lots of good food for thought/action. 🤘

I grew up on Choose Your Own Adventure books myself. I couldn’t finish until I’d sought out and located every single ending.

Thank you, E.T. I really appreciate your feedback. :)

I was the same!! It felt weird to 'finish' a book with unread pages still in it to explore!

It's interesting -- now that I'm starting to see the impossibility of locating and reading every single ending (thank you midlife), the passage of time has changed my mentality to match the approach you describe in this art-icle. Imagine/find the "ending" i want and let my life write the story that goes in that direction.

Beautiful. I love this. How much more simple and customized can it possibly be? 🤍

PS. art-icle. Love that!

you got it!!

Neville Goddard's teachings talk about this.. TO LIVE IN THE END... or LIVE AS IF. this mindset keeps our dream present in our mind and surely the Universe begins to present the possibilities until the dream is PRESENT in our NOW.

Excellent thoughts! I also tend to use my all too short summers to rejuvenate and get 'off the clock'. One of my favourite things to do is sit on my porch on the warm sunny mornings feeding the squirrels and crows while reading an inspiring book. It's like summer is a time of 'inputs' and gestation and then when the cold winter months come I lock myself in and get to work on more creative production.

Thank you so much, Frater!

Porches are so wonderful for reading and hanging with our animal friends.

And summer is for planting seeds in the fertile soil...for nurturing the knowing they will sprout, and patiently allowing the magic of gestation that will lead to a fruitful harvest of creation. LOVE IT!!

sounds a lot like my life...sitting on the back porch.. LOL Summer is for taking in the beauty of the Natural world which comes to life especially in the animals. They live the truth. In winter I find the means to be cozy and then put all those creative ideas into my art/paintings, or just sitting still, and being grateful.

I like your style, young lady. As someone who struggles to keep track of what month it is at any given time of the year, I can identify with you not knowing, nor caring about time, days, etc.

Going with the flow is so much less stressful, isn’t it?

Great read. Thanks for sharing.

It is easier to go with the flow- especially when we learn to bend at the knees and just surf it. 🏄‍♀️

I love this Jacqueline! I just wrote about waiting. About finding ourselves. Just doing us. Not what is expected of us. See where it leads. When we are in touch with "being" we go on the best most possible authentic journey. It's deep. I get every word of this! These truly are the days to let go. Great essay! 😘
