A beautiful tribute to you and to your dear Bodhi...Cats too are solitary beings, but when a human and a cat make that wonderful and amazing bond as You and Bodhi did that is what makes the ups and downs of love and Life worth EVERYTHING. I am so happy that you had this experience of life to share with Bodhi, I am so sad you miss his physical presence now, He has left his mark on your heart, and he is written in your book of life forever!! You've created some PAWSOME memories... LOL... but seriously. HUGS My Friend, thank you for sharing!
Missing, caring for a life, a being. Missing that sacred divinity that flows through us in that caregiving. That connection with our own divine feminine. That connection always brings the best out of us by helping us learn that flow within us. We don’t lose that when they’re physically gone. Energy does not disappear. Jacqueline Rendell your growth leaves one hell of a big shadow from your light. Into the shadow, we keep letting go to grow. Singing with you sister. Big hugs. Keep writing and singing. We need you. 🙏❤️
Jamie, this is the perfect message for me to read as I first awaken. Your words and the understanding they contain have wrapped me in comfort like a huge hug, one that will last all day. I really needed that. Thank you so, so much. Sending you my love and appreciation, my brother. ❤️🙏
What a beautiful tribute. Stunning. I am sure he arched his back into a stretch as he listened. This is the best way to start Thanksgiving morning. Thank you ❤️. And I also want to say his name struck me this morning. I was heading to look up the meaning on Brave and then I remembered…perfect name Jacqueline. It sounds like it fit him well. And I continue to want to say, “I am sorry for your loss.”
When you told us of Bodhi back in November, I wanted to ask you if a song was in the offing as a remembrance. At that time I backed off asking since the time wasn’t really right to suggest and felt it may have been a little more hurtful than helpful. But this outshines everything. It really expresses your feelings and brings out emotions to those who listen. The picture you share is just the cherry on top of the sundae.
Happy Thanksgiving. May Bodhi live forever in your heart 😿🌈🌁
A beautiful post. A beautiful sentiment. And a most beautiful cat Bodhi💓Just as his name suggests, I am sure he has indeed awakened to a far better existence. I often think that cats and dogs seem much farther along the eightfold path than many humans :)
And your reflections on the power of a bubble bath reminded me of the wise words of Misato Katsuragi to Shinji Ikari: "Wash away your troubles. Bathing cleans the mind and soul."
Ohhhhh....... the kitty. It's hard to imagine life without my kitty friend. She is getting older and older every day. I try to relish every head rub. I am sorry for your pain. Your sweet, beautiful kitty; what beautiful eyes. You are a sweet human, you are so loving. I'll bet you were the best kitty friend a kitty could ask for.
Amy, I'm so happy to pop back into Substack and see this comment, 'randomly'. I didn't get the notification when you posted it.) I SO NEEDED TO READ THIS TODAY. 🙏❤️🙏
I am sloooooowly adjusting to his absence- I've never felt such grief or sadness at the loss of anything. My constant companion and best lil friend. You are right to appreciate every touch, every gesture, every breath, every moment with your beautiful kitty friend. Thank you sister for being your wonderful beautiful self. ✨❤️✨❤️✨❤️
I appreciated your video on another level too. My Dad just went back to source on Dec 3. I am feeling it with you, my love. It's part of the deal of feeling so much. Have you made him a little memory area in your home? Maybe that's why I am suddenly cleaning and cleaning my house. I stopped to catch up on my friends at substack, but I am feeling an overwhelming need to clear and clean and I think I would like to put a picture of my dad in a place in my music room.
It's so true. We feel the loss as deeply as we loved the presence.
I love the idea of your dad in your music room, inspiring you, watching over you as an ethereal loving muse. ❤️
A memory area. Yes. I'll do this too.
I've been doodling every night so as to soothe my lonely evenings with an anchor to the moment. It feels good to be creating with my hands something tactile (as opposed to music). And have been meditating on Bodhi's pillow, inviting him to join me. Sending you so much love, my sister.

Thinking of you, friend.
Awww, thank you so much for this, Todd. I am slowly emerging from my tunnel of grief and am starting to create again. 🎵
I hope you are fantastic! 🤍
