Sorry I missed it. I didn't see anything happening at the link I followed. There were others there with me waiting and it was the link you provided. I don't know how I didn't get to the right place. Demi shared a link. I wish I would have noticed that. Anyway :) Good job breaking on through!
Exactly! I’m walking on totally new ground. Good news is, I think I figured out what happened. I’m going to experiment today. You’ll be invited to the next one with the proper link and you’ll have a blast, Cynthia!
“I’ll be playing songs by The Cure, The Cars, Blondie, Tears For Fears, Dolly Parton, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel, Weezer, The Clash. I mean COME ON!!”
Excellent taste - will have to catch the next one! I’m a musician myself; you’ve inspired me to maybe think about posting some of my stuff 🤔
Sorry I missed your event. Songs are a most worthy subject. I was hand-cuffed and subjected to a 45-minute reading of poetry while your event was on. Christ willingly accepted the crucifixion, took His lashes - but at least he wasn't subjected to poetry. I fear we'd all be quite doomed if Pontius Pilot had the soldiers read Poetry to Him instead.
"Nope, Father. I'm NOT doing this."
I hate poetry.
Poetry is the pathos of self indulgence; they're resplendent fountains of steaming pretense masquerading as craft. That's 45 minutes I will never get back.
Songs on the other hand? Songs are what poetry might be if they were alive instead of releasing malodorous gas and nourishing maggots. Ah, the beauty of trickling melodies sweeping through to oceans of rhythm that pull the soul in powerful, comforting currents; choral majesties lifting spirits, luminous lyrics signing the heart with quills of memories in inks of lasting joy. Give me song, or give me death.
But then there's me, turning off and zombie-scrolling through Russian cat videos while Cattle-boy orated his verbal crucifixions.
I might be outside in the hot tub with some people at 7 PM. Though maybe this could be playing while we’re out there…
love the attempt to multi-task! if not this time, then the next!
❤️
I may or may not be able to make it tonight, but this sounds FUN!
i just got back from a long walk and was singing your song all the way!
Hilarious. Some have found it to be a bit of an earworm, LOL ...
It really is. Of the best kind. Especially while walking under a shining sun. 🌞
🌻 🌞 🌝
Love the list of bands you’ll cover Jaqueline! See you tonight. 💖
Wonderful!!! See you later!!
I’m looking forward to hearing your concert tonight! 🪄✨ 🎶
hahaha!! YAY!! I'm so happy you'll be tuning in, Charlotte!
(Though I'm not sure 'concert' is the right word....ahem...I'm aiming for a bit more of a casual venture~ WAY less pressure! hahaha!!)
Practice time, baby :) I am in. I love my Tuesday practice night. I highly recommend it :)
Awesome...I get why you would!! xo

I am SO SORRY!! I wish you were there!!
I need to learn what I did wrong so it doesn’t happen again. 🤦♀️
Other than that mishap, it was a success and I’m now officially addicted. I will probably start doing many of these. Maybe even waaaay too many.
How are you feeling? We still on for tomorrow, booshy? ❤️
Hahaha. Don't apologize, it's cool :) I am okay. Still a little sniffy but not too bad. Should be fine :) Booshy :) Hahhaa. I love that.
I wasn’t able to watch it live Jacqueline , but I watched it much later and of course I love your concert! Thank you! 😚🎶♥️
If I am able I will tune in!! I’m moving all day so hopefully I’ll have some time to breathe tonight and watch! So happy for you and proud of you!
Awww!! YAY!! Wow, moving is a big deal, Tess!! If you can't make it to this one, there will be more in the future, love!!
Break a leg! I'll be there.
Fantastic!! It will be FUN!!
Congratulations Jacqueline. It'll be 3:00 am Saturday over here, but I'm a night owl, so will strive to watch. Congrats once again, and all the best.
Thank you, Patrick!! I feel like I'm living on my edge...only place to be, right? :)
Hope to see you in the chat!
I so want to be there and I am at an event tonight. Dang!
Oh my sister!! It would be great to see you in the chat! There will be more. Have a fun time this evening at your event. ❤️
